Our Approach to Roof Cleaning

At M Glasby Integrated Services, we take a careful and considered approach to roof cleaning to ensure the best long-term results while protecting the integrity of your roof.

Rather than using high-pressure washing, which can potentially cause damage to tiles, remove protective coatings, and force water beneath the surface, we specialise in manual moss removal combined with professional biocide treatments.

This process involves carefully scraping away moss by hand, followed by the application of a chemical treatment designed to eliminate remaining spores and organic growth. Not only does this provide an immediate improvement in appearance, but it also helps to prevent regrowth over time.

While pressure washing may provide a quick visual result, it does not always address the root cause of moss and algae growth and can, in some cases, lead to further issues. Our method is focused on delivering a safer, longer-lasting solution.

For drain emergencies we aim for same-day callouts across our coverage area. For cleaning jobs we typically book within 3-7 days. Big drainage installations are scheduled around weather and lead times.

Yes — full public liability insurance covers every job. Documentation available on request before work begins.
Do you offer free quotes?+
